New crop pistachio is on sale!

The first crop of Pistachio, the 'Green Gold' of Southeastern Anatolia, was put on sale in Antik Kuruyemiş.
In the Southeastern Anatolia Region, where 85 percent of pistachio production in Turkey is met, the farmers were in a hurry to harvest after the weather got warmer. Pistachio produced in 22 provinces of Turkey, especially Şanlıurfa and Gaziantep, is the most popular product of farmers and wholesalers with its high yield.
Workers entering the pistachio orchards in groups work especially in the morning and evening hours when the weather is cooler. The workers, who collect the peanuts one by one from the branches of the trees, then fill the peanuts they piled up into sacks.
